i don't know if the costumes will be any good
i don't know if the characters will be any good
and all the other bonuses don't interest me at all
and the game launches without two of my mains so yeah, dirt cheap standard edition for me .
These are my thoughts
Why? No proper rollback netcode, you lot can ""Enjoy"" the next 6-8 years of jank online play. I have other games that respect me as a player and create functional online experiences.
Tired of devs and publishers insulting players / customers with cut-down content... plus, almost no game is worth 60+$
Let's not mention i heard that barely any online experience was improved...
oh by the way, there is no such thing as Collector's edition when it comes to digital stuff
The Collector's Edition is physical and comes with physical items including a steelbook case. Even on PC. Sure the game content is a digital code but everything else is physical

If you look at things critically, yes the $105 "Ultimate" Edition looks bad on paper and yes they are blatantly copying the SF6 model (which I personally have been vociferously critical of). But unlike SF, Tekken doesn't sell colours and there isn't any MTX incentive like SF (which, for now, is a good sign).
If you look at it critically; all you're really paying for is cosmetic junk for the Xbox 360-esque avatars on top of the Season Pass. The glass half empty perspective would be that it's a waste of money. However, the glass half full perspective would be that you don't need that "Ultimate" edition and can save money.
Honestly, if anyone was genuinely interested in the game I think that the standard or Deluxe (with the 4 extra characters) edition (which can be gotten for a reasonable price even today, as long as you're saving savvy enough to shop around) would be enough
