Why does Tekken 8 costs 3 times more than Tekken 7 ?

In India Tekken 7 is priced at Rs 989 and now Tekken 8 is priced at Rs 4199. So can someone explain what so special about the game for this much price increment?

I was 3 year old and started playing Tekken 2 first on PS1 and then Tekken 4,5, 6, Tag tournament 1, 2, Revolution, 7

When Tekken 7 was released back in July 2017 for just 149,99 TL

But this price has increased more 10x times?

Baldur's Gate 3 is a 799,00 TL
Street Fighter 6 is a 848,99 TL

I don't get at all...

But while regional pricing policies are malleable, aren't consistent from publisher to publisher, and are liable to change due to world events - USD, as the #1 most traded currency in the world, has been the standard from which to compare prices. And in USD, the price difference between Tekken 7 and Tekken 8 when adjusted to inflation is $8.

Lets take the 2nd most traded currency - the Euro:

Tekken 7 released 2017 @ €50, adjusted for inflation: €65.
Tekken 8 releases in 2024 @ €70.

€5 difference.
