Worth it for a Persona 5 fan?

Hey all just want to preface this by apologising if this has already been posted a number of times already as I am relatively new to the Megami Tensei type games.

Played through Persona 5 and absolutely loved it, already doing another play through of it and speaks volume coming from myself as I very rarely replay games at all these days and I never got into JRPG games that much before P5. It was just such an enjoyable experience from start to finish that it really won me over.

I also really enjoyed Catherine and Persona 5 Strikers however I know those aren't in the same genre. I've bought all ATLAS games available on Steam, apart from this one,

Was wanting to know if it would be worth it for someone like me to pick this game up? I was about to the other day but saw quite a few negative reviews and was unsure what the reason was behind them?

My opinion, no, its not worth it, sicne the dungeons are large and empty unlike persona 5 you still be rewarded for exploring dungeons (chests, items, etc) there are lots of going back and forth dugeons which is tedious but its already slightly better with the sprint update. Not all demons from previous games are in soul hackers and i think its less than persona 5. The difficulty is easy even in the hardest difficulty. The story is ok but kinda boring after a long time. Its too grindy they give out low exp even if its in the easiest difficulty, and item have a low % drop. If you want to know the character development you must play all the side quests. Playing soul hackers 2 after persona 5 it feels like a huge downgrade since its pretty bare bones for a shin megami game franchise. Achievements are pretty easy to get if you’re an achievement hunter and its pretty short playtime for an atlus game. I would highly recommend that you borrow/steam share your friends who has it or buy it in a highly discounted price (just buy the base game and the lost dlc, the demons dlc aren’t worth it since it make the easy game even easier). In the end i can say that this is the game that you can put in the very bottom of your waitlist/wishlist or skip it entirely.

I'd say this is more for fans of PS2-era MegaTen games. If you like Nocturne, Persona 3, and/or Digital Devil Saga you might enjoy this one.
