Best order to play scenarios

Personally, I played the following:
1) Velikie Luki - first as Axis, then as Soviet
2) Road to Minsk (x2)
3) Road to Leningrad x2 (Minor Loss, Draw)
4) Road to Karelia (Minor Victory) - This one is in the DLC and in my view is superior to Road to Leningrad, to which it adds the fighting in Finland.
5) The Destruction of the Southwestern Front (Major Victory).

I'm not sure if it was a matter of more experience but I found the Destruction of the Southwestern front to be a much easier scenario than Road to Leningrad. I captured everything but Rostov and Sevastopol and I had Sevastopol surrounded.

So based on my play, I would suggest the following order.
1) Velikie Luli
2) Road to Minsk
3) The Destruction of the Southwestern Front
4) Road to Karelia (if you have the DLC) and Road to Leningrad (if you don't).

I haven't played Operation Typhoon 41 so I'm not sure where it would fit in the list, but I'm pretty sure it calls for very aggressive play so doing the Destruction of the Southwestern Front as prep for that probably makes sense.

So far doing the above, my total play time is at 79 hours. So at least these scenarios don't take a huge time commitment to finish.

I got the DLC on sale. I debated whether to get it or not, but think I got very good value just getting the superior Road to Karelia scenario.

Anyway, what would you suggest, both for a beginning list like above, and then what to take on afterwards. The obvious next step is Operation Typhoon 41, but that isn't necessarily the best step in terms of difficulty level.

I jumped right away into the big scenarios, since i figuered "why not learn everything on the go" :DD

Got completly overwhelmed in my first couple tries but it got better and better.....

Your way is most likly the more save one, but i figuered you really only have attacked so far....try some scenerio where you are in defence, like stalingrad or my personla favorite the May 44 scenario (as the germans obv)

If you really wanna feel like hopes getting crushed, try the big campaign as the soviets for 10-20 turns (at least on challenge Dif, since Ai, at least to me, is not good at Off) and try not to die, it also gives you quite the good feeling for when you play the big scenario as germany

also.....maybe its just me.....never use the romanians/hungarians for anything else but garrion TB, they are worthless (the tanks are OKish) and you can free up real german divisions from other TBs if you manage it in a smart way

The idea of playing as the Soviets definitely has its appeal, as if you survive the difficult start, you eventually end the campaign on the offensive.

In the meantime, I have started an Operation Typhoon 41. It is a good thing the soviets have the weather going for them or it would be a complete romp.
