I'm not saying i'm any kind of expert at this, just that's what comes to mind and I see a majority of games developers do is regular updates like every 3, 4, 6 months what have you if anything to keep the game in peoples minds.
This is true and I admit I need to consider more providing progress updates here for the next book. I’ll carve out some time to build a post of where things are with Book 2 and add a couple of preview renders too.
Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you! It’s just me. A lot goes into Artemis that I enjoy doing to make this as great as possible. Researching, creating new assets (3D objects), creating textures, morphs, animations, etc. it’s a lot of work, but work I love seeing come together.
I agree and it’s a difficult decision that I’m still contemplating. I realize how much time each chapter takes for each book. And I understand many want to continue going through the next part of the story.
Making Book 2 will no doubt have its bugs if set as early access. So it’s something I’m trying to weigh in as I get closer to wrapping up this next chapter.
Your AVN is so good it is hard to imagine that a team didn't create this. Awesome job and I am looking forward to all of your future work!
Problem with early access is a lot will pass on it in the assumption that it wont get completed, theres a lot of AVNs stuck in EA then fighting your way up the top sellers list will be a lot more difficult for you. I would very highly suggest only launching when its ready.
It’s going great. I plan on doing a development post this week to give information on where I’m at with it, plans for Book 2 (early access or not EA), some non-spoiler previews. I know it’s long overdue, and I apologize. it's something I should have post sooner and more frequently.
I agree with this. Waiting sucks, but it's better to wait a little longer for quality than to get a rushed product.
