Likely it is Fog of War, where the MC has brief conversation with Lexi at a sort of bar, then as he leaves Cece walks in to join Lexi.

It's funny, but there are so many single devs of other genres that get updates out regularly, and keep everyone up to date on what's happening. Games like Caves of Lore and Stellar Tactics, both large party based cRPGs that are MUCH more difficult to program than an AVN!

Don't need to post Book 2 in chapters before they are ready by your standards, just do updates on the state of Book 2 say every 3 months. Stuff like, "got this many scenes done, have this many animations to do, have testing to do, beta testing..." stuff like that. Mainly it's to keep the game in people's minds because making one of these games and making them with a good level of quality takes time, unfortunately gamers usually have short attention spans and if you go 6 months to a year or more before any kind of update or announcement on the next installment their attention will divert to something else and you might lose customers or they'll just outright forget.
I'm not saying i'm any kind of expert at this, just that's what comes to mind and I see a majority of games developers do is regular updates like every 3, 4, 6 months what have you if anything to keep the game in peoples minds.

Out of curiosity, is this story a one man team or is there a couple of developers that works on this game? The story is top tier and amazing regardless, but if this is a one person team then I'm speechless on how wonderful of an AVN one person was able to create.

I'd rather have Book 2 Completed then as an early access DLC without Achievments. The AVN To Be a King did it for their Second Season and I disliked this approach. I'd rather wait until sometime next year for it being done.

This is true and I admit I need to consider more providing progress updates here for the next book. I’ll carve out some time to build a post of where things are with Book 2 and add a couple of preview renders too.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you! It’s just me. A lot goes into Artemis that I enjoy doing to make this as great as possible. Researching, creating new assets (3D objects), creating textures, morphs, animations, etc. it’s a lot of work, but work I love seeing come together.

I agree and it’s a difficult decision that I’m still contemplating. I realize how much time each chapter takes for each book. And I understand many want to continue going through the next part of the story.

Making Book 2 will no doubt have its bugs if set as early access. So it’s something I’m trying to weigh in as I get closer to wrapping up this next chapter.

Your AVN is so good it is hard to imagine that a team didn't create this. Awesome job and I am looking forward to all of your future work!

4 books in total. There’s a mini book planned too that will be an epilogue for whichever you LI you chose. But as far as story completion goes, it will end on the 4th book.
I was wondering your game is the second i played to have a cameo from Lexi from leap of faith I can't remember the other game that had Lexi and cece as a cameo Put did you work on leap of faith or just know the creator?
Leap Of Faith was done by Drifty. I've encountered Lexi also in Chasing Sunsets, where you can also find certain android with a name that begins on a letter A. :D

I'd rather have it as early access, as it gives everybody their own choice. If people want to buy it when it's a fully finished product? Just wait for it to buy then. But people who want to enjoy the chapters early can also have it.

Problem with early access is a lot will pass on it in the assumption that it wont get completed, theres a lot of AVNs stuck in EA then fighting your way up the top sellers list will be a lot more difficult for you. I would very highly suggest only launching when its ready.

It’s going great. I plan on doing a development post this week to give information on where I’m at with it, plans for Book 2 (early access or not EA), some non-spoiler previews. I know it’s long overdue, and I apologize. it's something I should have post sooner and more frequently.

I agree with this. Waiting sucks, but it's better to wait a little longer for quality than to get a rushed product.
