The Big problem I have with this game
So the problem I have with this game is, how are other VN's supposed to compete with the quality of this game? Not only were the characater's pretty realistic and for the most part acted like you would expect them to, not caricatures of themselves, but the animation was so far above what I was expecting. It's like this was dialed up top 11 lol. Even the freaking menu is top notch. Kind of reminds me of the main menu from Detroit: Become Human.

I will agree with you that the menu of this game is pretty incredible, especially when you finish the game.

The animated scenes are also exceptionally well done.

That being said its not perfect, there are few animated scenes and most of them with the same girls.

Also I really dislike this trend of ending on cliffhangers where we'll only see what happens after in 2+ years.

It's going to be a tough wait for the next chapter. I thought this was well written, very interesting, and full of fascinating characters. Definitely a deep story. Looking forward to what is next. Leap of Faith was my first visual novel so it was amusing to me to see the same base model for the MCs and also the Lexi crossover. I remember DJ Kink from her crossover into Leap of Faith. What an amazing character underneath the masked celebrity! So easy to fall in love with. Top Five VN for me and we are just getting started.

The game wasn't too bad, but to say that other AVN have difficulty competing with this quality is a pretty bold statement.

The design of the characters was pretty great, as are all the 3D animations. Not the best out there, but certainly top tier. what I feel sets it kind of apart from other games is how expressive the artist makes his characters. while not necessarily very realistic, it does make for enjoyable scenes.
characterisation is also a big plus. While they do tend to follow stereotypes, and all the good guys are exceptionally sweet, friendly, warm, welcoming and generous, they, and their dialogue, are written pretty well.

That being said, I feel characters lack depth. In their overall awesomeness, I kinda feel everyone fails to intrigue me. I enjoy reading and watching interactions, but I'm not really 'moved' by anyone or curious what will happen to them. They are all so perfect, and awesome with everyone a little drama,... I can't relate.

and then we come to the story. Is it a bad story? not necessarily. but I wouldn't call it good. It's cliche, it's as subtle as a kick in the groin. I found myself rolling my eyes one too many times.
in addition - and as someone else mentioned - there are quite a few times that my suspension of disbelief is stretched waaay too thin. An interview on the topic of AI, and he's talking about object orientated programming? that's like asking a candidate surgeon of s(he) can take blood. if the author isn't familiar with some of these topics, best would've been to stay clear of them.

it did definitely improve gradually. The first chapter was not all that good. from the 2nd chapter onwards it became better and I was happy to finish the first book. though Clliffhanger there might be, it left me very neutral.

i liked naomi's look in chapter 1 MUCH better then in the later chapters i was dissapointed with her final look in chapter 3 and 4.
