Substance will not launch on fresh install of Windows 11.
What the title says, fresh install of windows 11, all updated drivers and windows updates.

Attempting to launch substance both through steam and directly will make the application flash open and close immediately on the loading splash.

I've looked up similar issues, and have attempted fixes such as checking my system path, checking for conflicting software, reinstalling the application..

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, what was the solution?

Windows 11 ICK, that is part of your issues, Windows 11 is having alot of issues in general...

I forgot to update this topic with my found solution. Turns out Substance wasn't playing nicely with the Windows 11 permissions system, which caused it to fail on launch consistently. Forcing substance to launch under my user fixed this.

An easier, though unsafer solution is to disable UAC. Though I can't recommend that people do this in a production environment at all due to security risks.
