Friend pass Play?

So I launched the normal game and got the friend pass version. Installed it but I can only choose to play it (a windows open with 2 options like it would in the normal version and not like in the video) . Should I try to launch it and see if a cd key shows up

Yes, launch the main game to show you the CD Key, give the key to your friend so they can add it to thier steam library and also download the friends pass version. Then both launch friend pass and you can invite them.

The Friendspass is discontinued by the devs :/

i had tried many times right way about friend pass with my friend but it still told me that my firend did not have full game.it's too bad.
