I know, I was there.

That alone is enough for me to put this game on ignore.
What happened for those of us who missed it?

In short they promised the world: First a Planetside 2 like experience, then they dialed back to regular, but huge multiplayer (like over 200 players on a map and maps and battles connected by campaigns) and then an Alpha version was delivered that never left Alpha stage, with just regular 64 player maps.

It was buggy, unfinished, catered towards console play (being stuck in animations instead of completely free movement) and doomed to fail. Which it did.

However, prior to that they sold expensive packages to founder players but failed to deliver all the content. A while after release they even made the game free to play, adding insult to injury towards the founders.

Don't let them off that lightly. Let's not forget that Behavior has been caught stealing code from partnered developers, makes predatory gacha mobile games, and will happily retcon their own material simply to sell a recolored version of an already existing skin. It won't take long after the games release before Behaviour milks the assets from this game to make another hastily slapped together character DLC pack for Dead by Daylight. Their long silence paired with that late April Fool's joke of an announcement killed all interest I have for this game. I immediately removed the game from my wishlist. I'll still keep an eye on the game but now that I know purchasing the game will support Behaviour. I've already looked at alternatives to not giving Behaviour another penny from my wallet.

Anyone notice that Behavior is not listed as a publisher on the store page and the post announcing them as the publisher is gone?

This game is not even listed on any part of Behaviour Interactive's web page and including their listed games, partnered games or other note worthy games. This game is not going anywhere IMO. Sad

they not longer listened on the store page as publisher (they was before after the partnership thing) so i think its dead game now

Blight: Survival is still in development with several dozen developers currently working full-time on the project.

Our Steam page definitely needs a significant overhaul, and we plan to do one sometime this year.

Rest assured, development is steadily progressing. We hope to begin initial playtesting sometime this year. :)

So what exactly is the problem with this? Can someone tell me? What exactly are they doing?
