Evil Dead was such a letdown by being "all-time-on-line"
The fact that the devs seem to be ignoring all the questions about offline while answering all kinds of other questions kinda speaks for itself unfortunately.
Why are people asking for an offline mode btw? Just curious in what circumstances you'd not bd online while on PC.
It's not that people want to just play the game disconnected from the internet all the time it's that they don't want the game to just be a rental that disappears forever once the servers go down!
I have a update on offline support in this game actually.
I asked on the discord and it seems the devs are positive about having offline support, if not at launch then post launch.
Really good point guys. Definately offline play should be included if the devs in any form or way can include it.
But PvPvE just killed all my interest. Apparently every game needs to be multiplayer focused nowadays.
I think devs said pvp MIGHT be added later. PvE is the focus of the game.
Good luck convincing Fatshark (or the devs of Inquisitor martyr) to be decent and add an offline mode. We'll have to wait either for an emulator (similar to the Tarkov emulators) or wait for the servers to go down (permanently) and THEN maybe the devs (out of the goodness of their hearts) make an offline patch.
It's such a shame that those games are locked away behind an online-only wall of BS.
If you're looking for a good horde shooter (with offline support), might I suggest you check out Deep Rock Galactic?
Anyways, we're getting off topic. Let's hope Blight: Survival has an offline mode ;-)
TL:DR add a storyline I beg!!!
If offline support is included then it's a day one purchase for me. Adding Blight to my wish list now.
I'm so tired of disposable "always online" games that lock me out whenever there are server issues.
So refreshing to see there are still developers that include offline support.
