Offline singleplayer?
Looks hella interesting. Getting hunt: showdown vibes from this (for some reason, idk why lol). That being said, will there be a way to play solo offline? For many people (myself included), offline mode is a must have.

Thank you and we're looking forward to this game!

+1

Evil Dead was such a letdown by being "all-time-on-line"

I'm also wondering about this.
The fact that the devs seem to be ignoring all the questions about offline while answering all kinds of other questions kinda speaks for itself unfortunately.

I suppose playing offline would not record your progress in a game like this?

Why are people asking for an offline mode btw? Just curious in what circumstances you'd not bd online while on PC.

It's not about us being offline, it's about the servers being offline. A big problem always-online games have is that once the servers die, so does the rest of the game with it, even if it would otherwise be perfectly playable solo.

Exactly!!
It's not that people want to just play the game disconnected from the internet all the time it's that they don't want the game to just be a rental that disappears forever once the servers go down!
I have a update on offline support in this game actually.
I asked on the discord and it seems the devs are positive about having offline support, if not at launch then post launch.

Really good point guys. Definately offline play should be included if the devs in any form or way can include it.
Sounded interesting.
But PvPvE just killed all my interest. Apparently every game needs to be multiplayer focused nowadays.

I think devs said pvp MIGHT be added later. PvE is the focus of the game.

Offline play is definitely on the table, as this is a not a competitive PvP game, but rather PvE. I don't see why we wouldn't add that - especially if you, our playerbase want it.

Can you also convince the Fatshark devs of this? I'm kidding, but thank you for at least thinking about the playerbase, especially us players with very poor internet.

Good luck convincing Fatshark (or the devs of Inquisitor martyr) to be decent and add an offline mode. We'll have to wait either for an emulator (similar to the Tarkov emulators) or wait for the servers to go down (permanently) and THEN maybe the devs (out of the goodness of their hearts) make an offline patch.

It's such a shame that those games are locked away behind an online-only wall of BS.
If you're looking for a good horde shooter (with offline support), might I suggest you check out Deep Rock Galactic?

Anyways, we're getting off topic. Let's hope Blight: Survival has an offline mode ;-)

What about single player? The game looks hella dope with a dark fantasy element while being realistic, then there's the setting two warring factions destorying the countryside. Could definitley add a storyline of being a noble knight or mercenary helping the poor folk with a twist, this game could be a great RPG on par with RDR2. As far as I'm concerned this has the setting of any medieval game ever, envoking the horror of war.

TL:DR add a storyline I beg!!!
They should make it like generation zero when it comes to multiplayer, the session is yours and you decide if you invite someone or not, playing everything in solo must be one hell of a experience this looks like the deepest medieval time accompanied with undead? damn and alot of gore definitely the perfect game for me.

If offline support is included then it's a day one purchase for me. Adding Blight to my wish list now.

I'm so tired of disposable "always online" games that lock me out whenever there are server issues.

So refreshing to see there are still developers that include offline support.
