Development Diary #1 - The post release

Good day!

In this diary we will explain our decisions and comment on how we will proceed developing Coin Treasures.

In this first release we were hoping to set a framework for expanding on a much larger feature rich Coin Treasures. As stated in our Early Access description we will be adding much more features like Steam Achievement, Character leveling, much more Powerups and Powerdowns and of course one of our core concepts: Unlocks in the Treasure Shop.

We are aware of an issue regarding low end computers playing on high or ultra settings. The issue is that coins might drop through the play area making it impossible to play. For now we have taken action on this by changing our minimum system requirements to the configuration of our development machines. We will take on this issue as our first priority after a short 2-3 day break of regaining our energy after the development crunch of the past months of developing, eating and sleeping.

Update: In our most recent patch we solved this issue. Thanks for reporting this bug to us.

After that we are planning on releasing updates often. This will happen on a weekly basis. Maybe more often if we can handle the testing. Since we have set up our Coin Treasures Framework we can develop new features quickly. We are thinking of releasing a beta branch in the Steam settings where new things are released on a daily basis. We can't promise this because we have to think of a way on how to not corrupt save games in case of a bug. (We will find a way don't worry)

For now enjoy Coin Treasures and keep in mind we will support this game for a long time!
