Re:BF
18+ patch?
Soooo waaay ahead of this here releasing : Patch? Because its an Ecchi game to the core, NO ONE can argue about it. Its actualy Called Ragnarok Battle ♥♥♥♥ 3 (Yes its listed as the official 3rd title, or rather remake from the original one) soooooo patch?

Someone would eventualy start this here threat anyway, so why not now? Or did the Publisher forgot to tell steam that you basicaly RAPE the girls? Shure its storywise the only way to deal with them but then again : you force them to do so (so are they, so Reverse Rape is in there too). One of the reasons why ToroToro didnt release ANY MGQ game here on steam is he would NEVER even CONSIDER censoring his games. Why you did it? I dont know. You sell exeptionaly well on DLsite already... Shure steam lets you hit more people but still, the price especiel this time is TO HIGH. Not to mention : Both kinds of Familiar, well lets just say DONT YOU DARE TO HIDE IT THIS TIME! I am fed up with that stupid "all are above 18 years of age" lie! IF AT ALL tell the truth, otherwise its false adverseting and people could get more offended that way instead of you going full on "its a game for those of 18 years of age or older, you have ben warned about sexual contend" AND THATS IT!

As far as we can tell Kagura-Games will for sure have an 18+ patch on their homepage again, so you don't have to beat a hat. ^^

relax, and don't worry, there will always be an 18+ patch (or mod) for everything on the internet at some point (including the nude mod by fan).

and Kagura-Games is so kind and provides us with the 18+ patch for the games they offer on Steam for free on their site, which I think is great.

they keep the games and patches up to date.

Yup - it's up as usual on the game's product page on Kagura's site! :)

It's an older post I know and largely been answered, but I'm just curious how you find the price too high. It's more expensive on DLsite and that version isn't translated. This is an official translation of the game, not Machine Translated.

u do realise that they made the game and so what age they say the characters are is correct - and they mention 18+ because its made for people 18+ if u dont like that then just hide kagura games its not that hard

"Kagura-Games is so kind and provides us with the 18+ patch for the games they offer on Steam for free on their site"

That is messing with a can of worms. While it's kind of cool if they have 2 versions one with nudity and one without. But it also brings into question around this system, between steam and this publisher. Also to in a way to download "the rest of the game from another site", as most would maybe buy their games for this reason?

I do wonder what the best deal with this kind of content, and the risk you take if you were to download from random sites for a "patch" or to "enable this type of content for the game".

The problem is steam is rather inconsistent how they handle the approval process for games like this, it largely depends on whatever steam mod happens to be assigned to check your game that day. Some publishers have been putting all their 18+ content straight on steam and had no problem getting approval, others have been blocked repeatedly for the same kind of content. I'm sure there's also market factors that play in whether to keep the 18+ content as a separate patch or not but without a doubt the steam approval process has a big impact on this. Once a publisher starts handling their games a certain way they usually stick to that method from there on out.

yeah it's that stupid stance by any big platform in accepting "adult content", create pages and dedicated side for adult content... but still don't know where it wants to stay and sell some content that is 10x worse than others. Some being blocked and others dont.

Like you say, some are more verified or has more traffic (good traffic) which means it might also be stronger regulated by people instead of some automatic system. which is kind of stupid, but I guess we have to live with that... even though it sucks and don't know where they even want to stand and other serious issues that should be addressed like looking for malware and not working games etc.

But to be fair on 2D/3D content, it can be a lot harder to regulate the sexual aspect. As what one views as "acceptable" another might not. Both in the tone of the sexual content or what it shows to whatever kinks that might be in it.

It's not because of Steam, it's because Kagura Games circumvents China's porn ban to sell games there. Even if Steam was 100% okay with all of their games they would still do this.

That makes sense, but I was generalizing more than just Kagura Games. I've followed various games that have been shot down in the approval process that had to switch to dlc or separate patch.

explanation is simple is if can say a easy point take now germany for example you would need to buy a license that says ur game is for ages X+ and need to let theem check it to be able to sell it in germany or u make it like this game and a bunch of other publishers ( not enough sadly ) and just release a "cut" version here with an download to an external site where you can get the patch so "Steam" in this case can say we stayed clear from this content since we didnt sell the patch on our platform or do we sell the game in such a version so for them its a clean out and rather put it this way in so all can just buy and easily patch instead of bein not available in X regions because of stupidity ( example could also be neko para that is sold on steam and is obv. a 18+ game )
