How do i progress with Mr Pages?

Trying to romance Mr Pages, we have kissed and done unspeakable things, but i want more.

Whenever i try to confess feelings to him, he breaks up with me instantly
this can't be the end of it, what should i do?

I have the same case.
Regardless of the choice, the dialogue after the confession gets stuck and turns into "develop friendship". There are no reviews in the ending.(
I try twice and result is the same.(

On my first play through I seemed to have successfully romanced it & we even attended the festival of the rose together at the end!! But I cannot for the life of me seem to get that to happen again, even if it seems like I'm hitting all the same beats as I did the first time, Mr Pages just doesn't appear as an option at the festival whenever I try now.

A hint I have (that could be viewed as cheating) is try other dialogue options, if Mr Pages doesn't react the way you'd like or you're not happy with how it turned out reload your game BEFORE you go back to the attic (that's when it auto-saves) and try something else. I find sometimes the options aren't clear with what you actually will say and how other's will react. That way you can try other options without it saving the consequences

I did.( Because some answers seems more romantic but Mr Pages dont react on it more ...romantic. But no result.
Do you have any screenshots with festival?(
