I would be pleased as punch if some of that early game tech was just unlocked or the early game grind was balanced to get through it quicker.
Were talking about a week of coding to get that issue laid to rest - and get communityactivity from one post every couple of days to the level the game mentioned above has....
I understand what you are saying,
The problem I see with the initial group is, once you mod the game a few times... there are many many more races, items and feelings that result in nearly unlimited variable likes / dislikes or other that make the characters have far too many red negative reactions in relation to finding a good ruler.
I would love that in the initial group some sort of limit or boundaries on how many possible negative reactions each of the four have... after all, these four are intended to be three of your long term primary characters. You can reroll nearly forever before you get a single preferred ruler, then you need to keeping rolling to get two more that fit in that kingdom and have valuable skills both early with the core group and long term with the established kingdom...
