Cheers. I have built too much for this game now. That church is only a small part of it and it's really struggling to run anymore. Chugs pretty badly moving the camera. Bit sad.

That's all of it but you cannot see much really. Fog...

Bit clearer.
Yeah, Mines not a potato but it's not a beast. To move the camera I have it in normal speed or paused. Its movement speed is fine at flat out but it's blurry so I can't really see clearly. Just easier to pause or reduce speed. Like you I cannot doubleclick at anything above normal speed anymore. Whole thing works fine at normal but normal is too slow. Progress is just plain boring at normal. It's good for fiddly stuff though so all good.
Time to start again I guess. Or take a break and hope they optimise things a little with the next update.
I am getting a bit of erratic behaviour with commands and I think it's pretty much reached it's current limits for me. But it's pretty big. took me ages. It's not entirely unexpected. Too many actions going on I think. Too many individual items. All my nobles are confused and refuse to do things properly for whatever reasons. For example they wont build trophies because 'there are no corpses' but there are corpses and if I manually command them they start will make out like they are doing it but wont finish. Just change their mind while pathing and wander off to other things.
Oh well.. Still fun though. Definitely not a game that allows you to fill the map yet but hopefully it's getting there.
Cannot build a chair, because I need to learn the stump(new, right?) and the stool before.
I'm all the way to winter, my best builder (12++) had build a dozen chairs before, and even more stools
Is this a mod? I have got a new Japanese building type and I thought it was via a mod. I didn't see any update. Some of the mod items are not set correctly. Things like the flash hearth not being recognised as a hearth when used to satisfy prestige wants IIRC.
Without playing and checking I would just ask you to check if you have the mod that adds things like that and if that has been updated and maybe that mod is locking/reverting your progress. I have not noticed official patch notes adding furniture but it could be the case and it could be a glitch. Just wondering though since if it is the mod I will get it too later on.
Aye - this is because they're gated by stumps (the entry level chair) now - build a stump and it'll unblock everything again. Same for ramshackle table to normal tables.
We have some stuff coming down the pipe for research that will prevent this issue in the future.
This likely happened when I pause the game to assign them to this task. I don't think I have seen this without directly assigning people to the task of burying the corpse.
It doesn't do anything horrible or game-breaking, and the last individual that gets buried is the name on the grave.
