Married people should both benefit from the prestige offered by their home. Or at the very least split it.

They get it through their Lodging need, because it can be fulfilled through Rooms or Buildings, the Partner owns.

So, you only have to give 1 Partner of each Couple, you have, a Room or Building, the other has it automatically fulfilled, but you still need to give them Equipment.



Fun Story:
In my recent Game, an AI Ruler tries to raid me, because one of their Nobles defected to me and sends an entire Family against me, the Son dies, the Father has escaped and the Spouse of the Father is now my Serf.

They share it in terms of satisfying their Wants and Lodging, but the true owner gets all the Prestige. There's a way we could implement this, especially now with families, but it's lower on the list relative to some other stuff.

Can you please made it then optional?
Because I like the current System, because it grants me control over, who joins who in Marriages.

This would be the nicest thing in my mind. Chateaus exist for vanity at the moment and with family's those extra bedrooms would actually make sense. Plus, this has the bonus of offering generational homes and the ability of saving on resources when you get to the point of upgrading homes instead of just making new homes everywhere.
