Feature Request: Crypt items

I've played long enough now that some of my original mortals are beginning to die of old age.

I'd really like to build a crypt for them but the only option is a basic grave that must be built on dirt. It'd be great to have some additional sarcophagi and mausoleum type things of various qualities / materials that could be built on stone or stone floors.

And a Night of the Living Dead event where all the corpses stored anywhere on your map spontaneously reanimate and are hostile? Might be a good reason to hold on to that departed pawn's gear before you make up your mind to give them a nice place to rest.

One of the mods available in the workshop has a number of these items but I don't *think* any of them work for storing corpses. My inelegant solution was to lay down a grave, bury the body, and then build walls around it with a floor on top and some sort of decoration. It wasn't terribly pretty but it was analogous enough to a burial vault that I could live with it. I've since learned that we were just wasting food over sentimentality and so there's no graves at all on my current map. :)

Fantasy mod has some Sarcophagus which can be used as bed or graves

I'm sorry I spread bad info there. The open sarcophagi do indeed accept corpses. I have subsequently tried to bury a corpse and was surprised when they headed for the mausoleum-bunkhouse and not the cemetery.

No worries, wasnt sure if you were referring to Fantasy mod or something else. So figured id toss that in there

I think the Fantasy mod is awesome but it's taking me time to build and use everything I want out of it. One of my builders is roaming the map on perpetual gremlin duty and I'm pretty sure the minotaurs know exactly when I'm focused on planning a new room. ;)

Wow. Im sorry I didnt answer this as soon as I realized. The Sarcophagii found in the Fantasy Unleashed mod...

MUST be placed on a dirt block but then can have flooring added underneath, once the crypt is placed, to complete the look.

As you can see there. On a side note, a toggle to Ignore burial items so you can access and fill them in the order you like would be nice.
