How's the game for a new player?

Most of the negative reviews mention few changes but how's the game for someone enjoying sports management games who never played the series?

Hey there, its a very good sports manager game. I play the series since 2003 and next to Football Manager its the best for pc i think. This year the scouting system for talents and the overall season planing is way better than in previous parts. So if you are a fan of pro cycling and manager games, this is for you. :)

The negative reviews are because some players buy the game every year ( i to) and see little or no changes. Lets say grapics are the same for a decade, i just reinstalled 2016 game also. And the looks are not al lot different, Though the game play is.

2021 version is not much differnt and it runs better then 2022 version

But if you like chess on wheels you like this game.
Yesterday i did a pogacar hammer, same way as 3 days ago in real life.
I play this game from the very first game decades ago,

Well i would download the realname db for sure, So you have the realnames of cyclist, some names are incorrect by default.

And you could download 1 of the mods who are availible. i downlioaded pcmdaily and worlddb

Yes like noordj wrote WorldDB or PCM Daily mod in the workshop. They bring much more depth and realness to the game. I think PCM Daily also has extra packs with more stage/tour variants and stuff.

pure game experience based ... DIFFICULT TO START WITH FOR NEW PLAYERS
