Tour de France: More an arcade game than a simulation. It aims to bring more race feelings. I would say it is more a console game than a PC game.
Don't hesitate to watch videos on youtube to see the difference.
PCM is a longer greater scope managerial game, you don't do any riding really except for trying to shake of a pursuer ... speed apexes braking etc, are not a feature at all, but PCM has all the events of a calendar season a far bigger database of teams and riders and it also boasts far nicer replays
in short TDF is more hands on PCM is more hands off.....i kind of disagree with the other comment TDF is not an arcade game imho, they are different games essentially and i play both because they are different
