U-23 Development Team Draft Bug

I’m in my second season, having used Sylvao’s workaround in January to get past the Pre-Season Training Bug, but I have now hit the Development Team Draft bug in October and so far, the workaround isnt working.

Basically, season ends, I am prompted to address the Development Team draft, but when I get there, the draft is over, my team remains unchanged from the previous yeaf (although they were all out of contract) and I cannot continue.

I have tried loading a save from a few days earlier, to no effect.

I even went back a fortnight, reran the Guanxhi GP but when I got back to the Draft it was still preventing me from continuing.

I know a number of other people have had this problem. I’m not using a modded database, just the default database that came with the game.

Does anyone know how to get past this point?

Also, is there a way to close down your development team altogether? That would presumably avoid this problem the following season, and the riders recuited into the team were rubbish anyway.

Anyone got the answers? I’m stumped.

Hello, could you please provide a game save ? Then I will try to fix it. I think U23 team can be close at a specific period but I could also force the remove by editing the save.

The save files are located here: "C:\Users\*YourLogin*\AppData\Roaming\Pro Cycling Manager 2022\Cloud". Note that AppData is an hidden folder. The save file is a .cdb file. You can provide a link to a google drive as example so that I can download the file.

Tried again but it just wont accept the google drive link. Not sure why as other people have managed to do this before.

Well I suppose Steam changed some rules. Maybe you could try to another link or just provide the link without the "https" part and I will add it.

I did try leaving off the https bit but that didnt work either. I will try some different ways, or will try from a different cloud storage.

It doesn't seem to work. You have to select sharing of the file and get the share link google drive is giving.

Thanks for trying. You do seem to be the guy people rely on to fix stuff. The company that sell the game never seem to respond to any requests for help.

I guess I will just go back to October 2022, not start an U-23 team and hope it works in October 2023. Shame. I won the Vuelta in 23.

Yes, it could be a good idea if you agree to start again. I never use U23 team on my side in the game since there was also a bug on very high wages for U23 riders. Also you can detect/recruit good riders with scouts outside U23 team but you already know that... Cheers.
