Please help fix this calendar issue
I really need help fixing this - or simply confirmation that everybody else has this issue. Been searching the web for a fix to no avail - but strangely not seen it mentioned anywhere.

It's a calendar issue in career mode. First season everything is grand (and best version of the game yet IMO), but in the second season the weekdays of the races are off.

The LBL and P-R are on a Monday rather than Sunday, the GT's are finishing on a Monday as well.

This means planning the targets for the riders become very strange as they are based on weeks of peaks and rest.

Rather than the LBL, for example, being on the last day of a peak form week and the rider having his rest start the day after the race, he now either have to start his rest week six days after the race or make do with only six days of rest rather than a full week.

The next season the calendar is moved a day further and so on.

Is this really only happening in my game?

This happens whether I use PCM Daily DB, World DB or no DB BTW.

I don't know. In my first season (long time PCM player though.)
I don't think it would matter much for fitness level training, especially since the game handles that based on objectives. If you set objective for LBL it will base everything on what day it thinks it is based on calendar, and not what day it would be in real life (Sunday).
My advice would be don't stress it and just enjoy.

The fitness is based on weeks. If you set Fleche Wallone and LBL as targets, the fitness peak is one week in the first season and two weeks in the second.

It's not that much of a problem second season, but in the third and fourth when GT's start and end midweek it has a huge impact on season planning.

It's making the game borderline unplayable at that point IMO.

I think I would be possible to reset race dates at each season by editing gamesave.
Could you provide a gamesave so that I could give a try ?

Sure! Please bear with me: How do I share a savegame from Steam cloud with you?

The save are located in the clould folder. You can put it on google drive, dropbox... and give a link there.

Ok I got it.
You are right, there is a tolerance of 1 week in the training planning depending on the year. For 2023 in your game save, the riders will have almost a full week of intensive form after Giro or Tour de France whereas they didn't had that for 2022.
I don't know how to solve that.
The only way to modify the training (fitness ratio) planning is to edit value_bitfield_fitness_target in DYN_cyclist_fitness but this is very tedious to do.
In PCM 2021 we could modify manually the fitness training intensity for each week.

Thanks a bunch for looking at it.

It's always intersting to deeply understand how the game works.
Maybe a dev can see your post and will take it into account for PCM23 or later :)
I think the best method would be to define fitness training day by day instead of weeks. Furthermore if we can't modify the fitness schedule, we don't need a weekly firness schedule.

I'm just a little bit at a loss about why the correct week days of the races are an issue in this version of the game when it's never been a problem before. If you go to the calender, you'll see that all the classics is on a monday in the second season.

It might be down to changing the calender in the second season due to AGR and P-R changing weeks. But it shouldn't be too hard to fix in a patch IMO.

The same goes The Worlds having the bug that RR and TT are being held in different countries. Never was a problem in earlier versions neither.
