but hey that my opinion
Bye.
I understand this kind of approach when it comes to AAA games but we are talking about a game called "Choo-Choo Charles made by a single developer. No one should need to be warned about this because it should be common sense. Anyone who buys this game and is unhappy with it deserves the results they get.
I have a good idea of what this game is supposed to be, it doesn't look to be pretending to be something more than it is. So I don't understand how people could buy it and end up not being happy with it.
probably because we like supporting people working and following their dreams to create something. Instead of licking boots from some big dev company.
Stop being a little loser telling people to not support a single dev. $20 is nothing.
Seriously this is like your 3th thread you've been on telling people not to support this solo dev project.
What kind of loser are you? It's really pathetic.
How many people working on a game has a lot to do with how much content a game might have. A solo developer in a given time frame isn't likely to achieve as much as a team of developers might achieve.
It's not that hard to understand for me that when I see game called "Choo-Choo Charles" that my spider senses are going off already without even needing to know how many people worked on the game. The game actually being amazing would surprise me more than it just being a quick little meme game.
I could never purchase a game like this with expectations, it would only be for the memes of being chased by a spider train. The good news is that it seems like you want more and that isn't a bad thing and says maybe the developer is onto something and has spread into a fan base outside the meme game that it actually is.
I'm not the developer but hopefully he reads between the lines with post like this and sees that people just want more and actually like the game but want more of it. My goal would be to try to add some extra depth to the game as well as some extra replay value to keep people like you around. If the developer has made some good funding it might not be a bad idea to add some extra shine to this title before walking away.
