Very very bad,

I set it up to use mouse, and up,down, left, right arrows to move on screed. all the damn time my character is turning around in opposite direction freely and getting me killed...no where ready to play even for an alpha...going to have to refund since just bought...can't control my character

What are your movement settings set to? Try Movement/Fixed or Movement/Continuous. Allow us to help you with your issue rather than giving up.

The controls are dodgy, its so simple to fix as well, just make it so the camera turns with the character, there's so many isometric games that use this mechanic, The Last Plague: Blight is an isometric game with 3rd person, the controls on there are really smooth and it has way more in depth mechanics/crafting features than HZ..... I would recommend you use (Movement and continuous) camera controls though in the settings, it does make it easier but combat can still feel a little off because when you enter combat stance the controls alternate back to cursor, plus you have to constantly hold MMB to turn..... there is a fixed camera setting that does follow the character but its buggy as ♥♥♥♥ and feels totally unnatural imo

So i've played with setting, less turning when i don't want ti too..But i know why it is still turning...They made it so damn tight, you have to be practically standing on the items you want to pick up, the mouse curser end up right beneath you and then your turning around for no reason...you shouldn't have to be that close to the items to pick them up

People wanted the fixed mode and we gave it to them and those that wanted it have said it's exactly what they asked for, so it may not be right for you, but it is for them.

Tried everything to get a comfortable feel..No luck...I do not have time for this ATM...i'll keep game comeback another day...try again...i can't play with it being this janky

i'll leave this information if anyone has a suggestion when i come back...
I am handicapped. Army injury to my left hand...so i have to use UP,Down, Left, Right buttons on right of keyboard...and the mouse...i use the right ctrl for crouch, right shift for jump, 3rd mouse button as interaction and middle mouse button to sprint..
