We are not fans of bullet sponge enemies. The grenade launcher and RPG are over the top weapons as they should be against undead shuffling about. The toxic fatty is meant to be slow and can one-tap you on higher difficulty levels. The Leaper is meant to be nimble and dodge around but easy to take down. The regular fat zeeks that walk around can 2-tap you on Nightmare Difficulty. If you're still playing on default speed/damage/health settings, again, best advice is to up the difficulty. You'll see 5x zeeks go back down to 3x, maybe even 2x as you go up in value.
Witches are pretty cool, but they belong in the L4D universe. Ferals belong in 7 Days to Die. Not trying to pull a bunch of the same stuff from other games that are already out there :)
I hate bullet sponge enemies too, but right now the variants aren't much of a threat. I understand wanting to be unique and not just copy-paste other games, but the zombie genre is already super overdone, to think otherwise would be crazy, might as well just use what works and maybe put your own spin on it.
Humanitz's multiplayer is way better than State of Decay and even Project Zomboid imo, but the zombie variants in State of Decay for example are more interesting to fight. They're not super bullet spongey but they are tough enough to provide a challenge. The SoD Screamers, Juggernaughts and Ferals bring enough to the table to change up the monotony of just mowing down regular zombies.
