is the demo different?

I just finished playing the demo a little, explored abit and got a feel for the game, this is a great game, before i go further.. i seen the game can be purchesed.
is the full game any different?
does your save work on both?

would prefer not to get into it too much then have to start over
if its better like more map. different start etc then i may aswell stop where i am an get the full one?

It's a totally different map than the demo, that is about it. There are a lot of items and vehicles that are held back from the demo though.

- The full game map is 16km^2, which is about 100x the size of the demo.
- The demo save will not work on the main game as Dubzz mentioned it's two completely different things.
