The padlocks don't work yet, do they? Because I can lock it but anyone could get in. I also set the code.

Nah, padlocks work just fine for me. I use the advanced ones, and every door with one that's been set to "lock" mode is locked as it should be.

How can I access the mode? I can enter a numeric code and confirm it. But a friend who wasn't in the clan was still able to open this door.

Well, I'm using a controller so I'm not sure how this works on KB. For me, I go up to the door that I want to lock, go into my inventory and use the lock, then hold d-pad right to open my radial menu and select the lock icon.

After it shows me the keypad prompt, I enter my four-digit number and then hit lock. And that's it, door's locked up. To unlock, I go to the door, open the radial menu and select the lock icon, do the keypad bit again, and the door will open.

you need to reinput the code to lock it, otherwise other people will be able to just open the door. Just tested it in the main project and it's working as intended :)

OK, it works, but it's very inconvenient to always enter the code ;D

you can add padlocks.

We're working on getting the numpad locking right, this just solidifies the need for an initial entry for who places it or is in the clan, kind of like hoe Ark does it. We'll get there, just a lot of things to do in the mean time :)

can you put a new advanced lock over an existing one? i know you can open locked doors simply by adding an advanced lock .

Locks work 100% on player build doors. On prefabricated door on map building is 50-50. There are some building doors that I can not attack locks into.
