Hi can we catch a chicken like at the easy beginner base , so we can get eggs anywhere we build our base?

Not just chickens, but animals in general, but if you get close and press and hold the Interact key, it will start the dismantling process while they are still alive.
You can then obtain the disemboweled meat, but they run along fine.

Of course, you can kill it and then dismantle it.
In that case, a bow and arrow is easy.
