CB radio works fine for me. Green light > activate it. It either says "mission failed" or "agent at your service". After that the light goes red until it can be activated a few hours later (don't know exactly how long it takes).
"Mission failed" > often a group of hostile human appears and raids me. Really annoying since they just ignore my barbwire walls and gate. They you just walk through it -_-
"Agent at your service" > a random trader will appear a few seconds later. Check the walls around. He always gets stuck somewhere on his way to the CB radio. Also got stuck within my base behind a small building.
Next i will try to put more than one CB radio and put them outside the base with no obstacles around them. Just the radios and a Storage and weapons box with items to sell.
Sadfully you get a random trader. Only the car parts and ammo trader have been useful for me. Food trader is a bad joke. Apparently i got so much to sell and they don't have anything good to buy. Since there is no money i have too keep the stack of things to sell/trade -_-
- Only open field around. Works fine so far. Traders don't get stuck any more.
- You don't have to wait for them to go way. You can call in multiple traders at once.
- the traders are actually pretty good at killing zombie hordes.
Maybe i will add a few more cover walls for when the call fails and the raiders appear. I recommend using your binoculars (the skill enhancement for 2 skill points is really great!) after a "mission failed" call to see which direction the hostiles come from.
