Pickaxe crafting?

Hi everyone,

I just wonder if pickaxes can be crafted like axe and hammers? I try to craft one but could not find it in the crafting menu or among the options of the workbench. I personally found that the spawn rate of pickaxes is quite low, so it is a bit challenging to mine resources.

You can make one with an anvil but it's a pain. You need to find a pickaxe, mine iron, make iron ingots in a forge, then you can craft one. Never found any iron in an container.

Perhaps it would be great if there is a crafting option for stone pickaxes like in many other games.
