Go into the Build crafting (B key).
Go near object you made/being worked on. Aim character at it, X key to remove.
I know being made constructs will NOT return items used if you placed any in.
I never dismantled something I already built so I don't know if you will get materials back, but I doubt it.
It doesn't work even if you finish building the items. I just tried to dismantle all of my structures and it simply will not work.
Find the input.ini file here
AppData\Local\TSSGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Under [/script/engine.inputsettings]
Add this line
ActionMappings=(ActionName="FireMode",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False,Key=X)
ENJOY
Why input.ini file completely empty?
I'm confused by this... This looks like it would have something to do with changing your weapon's fire mode. Not the ability to dismantle structures.
ActionMappings=(ActionName="FireMode",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False,Key=X)
but then nothing works anymore.
I also read many similar posts, that dismantling somehow is not working. It needs to be fixed.
AppData\Local\TSSGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Under [/script/engine.inputsettings]
Add this line under ActionMappings=
(ActionName="FireMode",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False,Key=X)
If the file is empty, all you need to do is rebind a single input and the file will populate.
it doesnt work anymore as of december 22nd
