Building need LOGS

Logs are required when building, but materials cannot be put into the building mode without a hammer in hand. However, since the logs can only be held in the hand, the building will never be completed.
What in the world are the specifications?

you can, just press b and and then add logs using F.

You don't need a hammer in your hand to insert the materials into the "hologram", once it's placed. Just pick up the log, walk up to the structure you are building, hit B and then insert the logs by hitting F.

You only need the hammer in hand when placing the structure to be built.

You should have put the hammer away after putting the building menu out.
