How do I repair walls?

So I put up some barbed wire walls, and now they are damaged.
For the life of me I cannot figure out how to repair them.
Have hammer in hand, try to interact, try from build menu...nothing.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

While build menu is on pointing on damaged structure(from close distance) will bring on screen fix prompt F if i recall.

Yup, should say on the right side of the menu what is needed for the repair.

This helped.
I was close to the walls, but not close enough.
Also, walls need to have significant damage before the option comes up.
Slight damage to walls, and this option does not appear at all.
