World Wide Hack

Real Hacking?
Does this game actually teaches you how real hacking works without, you know, potentially getting into trouble trying to learn about hacking through hacking in real life? lol

If it were the real thing I'm pretty sure it would be boring and very long. The so-called reviews that measure the degree of reality of such games have probably not understood the concept of gaming. ;-)

Hi, yes, it is all fully simulated isolated networks of computers (important word is simulated, so you are not connecting to real computers), therefor it is absolutely safe and legal. There are simulated mainly principles and some tools from real life, which are simplified and more oriented on fun.

Its more like game hacking, like capture the flag. You won't learn anything important, just get a feel for how it can be done in the real world.

you cant get in trouble for learning how to hack actually even if you actually do it it real life as as you have permission from the system owner you can hack till your hearts content

is this going to be an ender's game situation where we're told it's simulated but it's actually not? LoL just joking, kinda

That's actually the plot. (You can learn that within 5 minutes of starting the demo, I'm not going to call it a spoiler.)

But no, there's no way the actual published-on-Steam game is that. It's not like anything you do in this game is going to be exploitable labor.

I have zero hours on this game and I already know this sim is going to be like the real deal. If you want to take this to the next level? I suggest learning how to set up Kali or any Linux with the right tools and a cloud server (node). Hack your home network from the cloud node you made and you will not get in trouble. Maybe you will understand how close these sims are to the actual thing. Anyone saying this is just a game please zip it you are missing the point to these hack sims.

you play it to have fun not to learn how to hack.
you dont need any knowledge on hacking to learn it either
