Can't put firewood into the stove

Hello guys, I 'd like to ask for your advice please because I have a problem:

I have bought a stove in Fort Aestrin and I just can't put a piece of wood into it: I put it into, I left-click or press F to cook and the piece falls down on the deck.

So, logically, the stove is not lit.

Do you know by chance how to put it into the stove?

I've found you have to have the wood in exactly the right spot when you let it go for it to light. It's a bit of a pain right now.

Use ctrl key to kneel down then do it. I found it makes it a bit easier to place the firewood

There is a small opening in the lower part of the stove: is it the right spot?

Or can you just put the wood anywhere directly through the stove walls?

i've never used the aestrin-style stove, but the "grill" you can get in emerald allows you to load the wood from the top.

That's the right area, but you pretty much have to place it centered and right on the floor of it to get it to light and not fall out.

However, I have to regret to tell you that it keeps falling out whatever I do and I just had no choice yesterday but to sell back the stove and the wood. I could at least get back 1300 for the stove, which makes about 50 % of the initial price of 2400. Better than nothing.

I'm sorry about this but I really tried all the possible combinations you can imagine and it's not working. I 'll just go to the Emerald Achipelago and buy a normal grill which works for everyone.

So, I don't recommend to buy the vertical tower-like stove in Fort Aestrin because it just doesn't work at all and it seems to be a bug. At least, I can't think of any other explanations.
