It might be on a distant roadmap, but the STEAM sales page just says solo play. Did you make a separate STEAM game, Sailwind 2 - the MP edition? I'd mark it on my wishlist or buy it early access. But to get in on this now, not knowing when MP will occur, the boat sets sails once, and it's harder to bring friends aboard later.
- multiplayer
- purchasable houses
- storyline & quests
- shark and whale hunting
- fishing nets, traps, cages
That is an eternity on game scales. Maybe?
Ever played Star Citizen lol
I agree with Unster: maybe it's better just to focus on developing the AI.
And if you want a multiplayer in Sailwind, the only thing to do together here is to organise a sailing race :)
It'd be worth it if you could have multiple players crewing the same ship - someone at the helm, others tending to the ropes, others fishing and cooking and navigating. Take it in turns to sleep. Could even be in-game minigames to pass the quiet spells - cards, dice etc.
I agree about making a multiplayer crew, it would be cool !
However, the ropes are called 'lines' in sailing jargon...
But never mind, the idea is excellent.
Yes but I think a multiplayer crew could do for a brig that has many sails. But I agree that it's pretty useless for the other ships present in the game now.
