Tavern in Golden Rock?

Hey, i can't find a place to sleep in Golden Rock, is there one?

There is one but I also struggled to find it. If memory serves (I sailed away from there a while ago) if you are facing the town from the sea (north), it's on the left behind the houses with a doorway facing south

yep it is further away from the painting store. If you see the cool fedora-wearing guy standing outside the paiting store, it is behind-ish.

And what about Fort Astrin? I can't find a tavern there, though here it seems there really isn't one. Odd, if one place should have one, it is there.

uh I think currently only Al'Ankh and Emerald Archipelago has taverns in selected ports. Aestrin and Fire Fish Lagoon are still waiting.

The drink needs to be alcohol to be shared
Take a bottle of wine in hand, look at the NPC and a pop-up will appear under its text box when you are able to share

In any case, the tavern dwellers won't say anything too useful. Only that a ship recently traveled bound to some place, with so and so cargo.

Since the game has an economy based on supply and demand, it helps to avoind bringing redundant wares to a place that is already getting it, lessening the margin.

I at least haven't seen them say anything different from that.

Sorry to bother you once again but it seems to me that I didn't catch something

I do just what you told me to:

I take a bottle of wine and go to the NPC girl in the tavern of DC but no pop up appears under the text box ' Share a drink with a fellow sailor ? '.

There is just the NPC and the text box above her and that's all.

So, what am I to do next ? How to get it working?

If I just click on the writing above her, with the bottle in my hand, then I drink the wine myself and nothing happens.

And if I put the bottle on the table next to her and click on the writing, nothing happens as well.

So how can I make her speak ?

Hey OP, it is like selling back things to the market. The crosshairs have to go over the rectangular "button", it lights up when it is enabled to be clicked.

And how do you mean ' buy a drink' ?

The tavern doesn't sell any drinks, it sells bottles of alcool like rice beer or wine.

Do you mean I have to give her the bottle ?
