I bought this game with VR in mind, I hope it will be added as soon as possible, and I think that adding it will increase the base of people interested in buying it. I keep my fingers crossed because the game is great

I'm not likely to play it in VR (don't feel motivated to invest in the hardware), but I should certainly hope that VR is coming, given that certain interface features are unpleasant to use with mouse and keyboard, but probably make more sense in VR. :-)

The game has not been abandoned, the last update was on 31 Jul 2024, and VR is supposed to be in the future, as indicated by the roadmap

Well, I started by reading this thread and seeing this:

and then I took a quick look at how little had actually been completed on the roadmap since 2021.

Sorry, I'm not usually this negative, but looking at the scope of what was on the roadmap and comparing it to the actual progress made in the last 3+ years makes it pretty clear that the features that would make this a purchase for me aren't likely to be implemented before this project stops getting updates entirely.

well, single dev, and this is about the summation of the request for VR support... meaning that most people have been vocal about wanting other things first, and lion has accommodated.

but if you want him to drop everything and stop working on the basic aspects of the game in order to implement VR, i'm sure those of us who've patiently been waiting for base features would really /appreciate/ that.
