Here is hoping for this fog to exist in all regions one day.

Fog? More like nuclear winter radioactive fallout weather!

You won't want it. FFL has slight fog all time, and such strong fog like twice per daylight.

It's not foggy all the time. It was when I arrived first though, so it took me 4 days to find the first harbor. Luckily it was Fiire Fish Town, because that's where my cargo was headed. After these initial four days I visited all other harbors in FFL and had a little bit of fog only occasionally, usually during nightfall. Mostly it was completely clear weather though.

The settlements are gorgeous on a clear day, but navigating the whole place is a major pain and not very fun at all. It will be foggy most of the time and with sandbanks prowling from under you everywhere. You'll get stuck and frustated. You'll have to anchor to pass multiple days at a time because you won't be able to see in front of you. Using a Sanbuq was annoying and I could only imagine the agony of using a Brig here.

All in all, I bet a lot of players will be like me and visit it once, never to come back again.

The consensus seems to be sail around the outside if you're in a big ship
But now the anchors actually have a practical purpose, and you can do a different type of navigating to what we're used to, but people still complain

I agree with you,the new area is disgusting and much worse than the other areas.time to build it could add a lot of cool stuff to the game.
The only good thing is that a very beautiful ship one is being built in the new area.I hope we have this ship in the game soon.

Maybe a good reason to allow us a dinghy or something to haul cargo into shallow waters from the bigger ships? :)

The ship in the warft here is so big it would be useless without a smaller boat to ferry goods to harbour. But the model ships in the shop on kicia are nice :steamhappy:
And a save consistent anchor would be great.
