What do you do with trash?

Such as the goat cheese box at the beginning or your empty water barrels? I didn't really know what to do with them and I've yet to see another crate of goat cheese at a vendor (still in the easy zone). So I just started yuckin' things over the side. If the dev reads this, would it be possible to have a box go "blank" when it gets empty and us be able to stuff it with other things? I think that would be kewl. Thank you for your time.

Yes, you can receive around 20-25 gold for a hollow crate/ barrel

i honestly wish we could buy a hatchet tool and use it to break down empty barrels and crates into fire wood.

That would be an awesome feature. Hope the dev sees this and puts it on their to-do list. Honestly, considering how many other things would take priority, I wouldn't hold my breath on it, though.

At the start of a career it may maje sense to sell the empty barrels/bottles/crates due to the low rewards for the missions. As soon as you do the bigger trade turns money is not an issue anymore.
I'm now on 200k where the few gold are not really making a change...
