SWORN
Mob Targeting
I'm really enjoying the game, but I feel like the targeting system could use some refinement. In its current state, locking-on for certain weapons is necessary to have any chance of hitting the target whereas others have a decent auto-target/lock already built into the weapon. I think it would improve the experience if all weapons had a more intuitive auto-targeting and snap function based on what direction the player is facing. Similar to other games in the genre where locking-on isn't required.

Ideally I would see this as an optional setting for those of us who want a more seamless auto-targeting experience and 1 less button we need to be pressing during combat.

I'd love to see this improvement in a future update.

Great callout. I'd say this goes double for co-op, where you can spend half a fight wondering where on Earth the boss is below all the visual noise. Very easy to miss if you don't hard lock on. Looking at you, zone 3 boss.

Personally, I'd love improved customization for the lock-on function. For example, I'd love a toggle for whether casts also lock on. Many Monk weapons really want you to lock on to enemies...but you basically never want your Shield to cast on the enemy. When you're locked on to an enemy, you cast on them instead of you, essentially making that cast unusable while locked on. Commander's Shield while locked on casts under you, which is usually better than the enemy (aside from a couple of weapon upgrades)...but with many weapons/playstyles you want to cast it to another position you're traveling to instead of your current position.

I'd much rather if decisions like that were in the player's hands instead of the whims of how a given ability is implemented within the lock-on system.
+1. An option to always lock on the closer target (without pressiing any buttom) would be nice. Also a more flashy visual on the target locked on.
I think something breaks with targeting in 3/4 player. In solo or coop, I have zero problem targeting the enemy I want to target. But in 3/4 player? Forget about it. It's almost entirely random. I can be looking at an enemy, mouse over it, and hit the key, and it targets just some other enemy in a different direction on the other side of the map. This is with m+kb.
