Exploding mushroom 4 man, anti fun?
As the title would state, my friends and I are about to stop playing the game because honestly the number of runs that just end because mush+lightning/meteor is unplayable in a 4 man lobby. 95% of the map is covered. Anyone else feel the same?

I 100% agree, and I've primarily been playing as a duo. Mushrooms pop up and explode too suddenly, linger for too long, and just take up too much space. Combined with any of the other ground aoe affixes and its just a headache

Yup - Boring

Yeah mushrooms are not fun-guys here (sorry) There definitely needs to be a rework of the area corruptions. and/OR give us another way to heal (like a limited potion) and make gold and health revives scale separately. Having a revive meter to fill while in spirit form would help too.
Aint no way this has actually been playtested on the latter difficulties and okayed.

i'm not 100% certain on this because:
1. The devs are reading feedback constantly and have shown they are making changes according to data and feedback provided
2. So if they thought it was an issue, they wouldve done something about it (the water event was patched)

I suspect its a mix of "4player runs" arent that many and therefore arent a high priority and they are limit testing how hard runs should be (only nerfs in patches no buffs makes me believe they are testing clear limits now before adding power/making the game easier)

Anywho, we've decided to drop the game for now and will be back when the game isnt so frustrating to play

From seeing the actual feedback it is apparent that devs despite reading the feedback do it very selectively. I haven't seen a single person praising the shrooms/meteorite showers, seals, etc.

My friends are also starting to get more frustrated after the nerfs.
I hope they make positive changes soon! I don't want to only play solo :shocked_hero:

Yeah whoever OK'd mushrooms on Arthur especially in the second phase needs to sanity check themselves
These devs have a great idea for a game, but terrible ideas on how to increase difficulty. A room debuff that takes away your attack abilities? What??

Make the AOE on mushrooms smaller. IMHO, that would fix most of the issues regarding how annoying they are. I am tired of waiting 10+ seconds to damage a legendary beast/boss due to it chilling in a mushroom cloud.

Yea, they took so much inspiration from Hades, but ignored the Heat mechanics of increasing difficulty.

Heat in Hades 1 was a great way to choose how you wanted to increase the difficulty, while still rewarding you for doing so.

Sworn on the other hand just forces ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on you like constantly exploding mushrooms and breaking your build to try to increase difficulty.
