crystals already have their little bonus for getting (10hp if unlocked), maybe getting some sort of bonus on the other currencies would help to not feel too bad about going for your 200th useless moonstone
And btw I am talking about 2 boons/perks per room, not just one lol. As it is right now, you are forced to put as many upgrades as you can into just two, maybe three of your abilities. There's no way to make all of them decently powerful. There just aren't enough perks. This is why on most runs I try to avoid taking companion/ultimate/dash perks because they aren't as useful as your spell and light/heavy attack.
I want more boons all around.
Also, the ultimates are insanely powerful, the dash blessings are great for chip dmg/healing, and some of the companions can literally carry a run (see Broodlings with stagger duo, or the Quake companion with immolate duo - those two can melt enemies). You just need to experiment more and you will see how crazy OP you can get with a lot of builds.
Ultimates are extremely weak IMO and take way too long to charge. Dash blessings are barely ever worth taking, much less upgrading. Companions CAN be somewhat okay if you get exactly the right perks but otherwise they are basically worthless. I want more of a sense of powering up over the course of a run because as of now, I don't feel it.
no :)
They should definitely rework many of the blessings to feel competitive and viable.
But giving a blessing every room would make you a god by the end of chapter 1. There's no balancing around that.
