SWORN
I wish...
I wish that the various 'currencies' were just drops gained from killing enemies instead of chamber rewards. I hate clearing a chamber just to get a few moonstones or crystals.

I also think that every chamber should have *at least* 2 options when it comes to the doors. Ideally, a banner and a god, a banner and a horn, or a banner and a Sword in the Stone. It feels like perks don't come often enough, and even when they do pop up, it's too hard to get a nice synergistic build going. Sure, you could blow a bunch of re-rolls to get something you want early on,

Honestly, I'd like it if we could get two perks per chamber clear, even if the base game was harder. At least then it would be much easier to get a sweet build going. There's a finite amount of chambers in the game, and with many of the chambers giving you nothing that's actually going to help your current run, it saps the fun right out of the game.

id love to always have 2 options, rooms with only one door shouldnt be a thing outside of boss rooms ofc... but i hard disagree on there always being a boon, with current balancing you are plenty strong by getting one offered only half the time. getting a boon each room would be crazy powerful and re-balancing everything just to make that work seems silly too.

crystals already have their little bonus for getting (10hp if unlocked), maybe getting some sort of bonus on the other currencies would help to not feel too bad about going for your 200th useless moonstone

+1 on the two options. Hades did that one chamber pick thing just to balance it and it sucked so why did this game follow that lmao

Then rebalance the game. As it is, it's far too hard to pull off builds that I want. Even with a small number of re-rolls, you're still very much limited by RNG.

And btw I am talking about 2 boons/perks per room, not just one lol. As it is right now, you are forced to put as many upgrades as you can into just two, maybe three of your abilities. There's no way to make all of them decently powerful. There just aren't enough perks. This is why on most runs I try to avoid taking companion/ultimate/dash perks because they aren't as useful as your spell and light/heavy attack.

I want more boons all around.

If you got boons or upgrades every room, then the game would not be challenging at all. That goes for any rogue game, you can't just have constant upgrades or it would be too easy. I've beaten the game with every character and weapon, and almost beat Sovereign on my first try. I have not had problems getting certain builds with the amount rerolls you can get.

Also, the ultimates are insanely powerful, the dash blessings are great for chip dmg/healing, and some of the companions can literally carry a run (see Broodlings with stagger duo, or the Quake companion with immolate duo - those two can melt enemies). You just need to experiment more and you will see how crazy OP you can get with a lot of builds.

As I said, I don't mind if they increase the difficulty to account for more boons. I want more boons for more build diversity. Not everyone is a turbo nerd who has beaten the game with every character and weapon. Some of us want to have fun and experiment. I've got 20 hours into the game and I'm already super bored.

Ultimates are extremely weak IMO and take way too long to charge. Dash blessings are barely ever worth taking, much less upgrading. Companions CAN be somewhat okay if you get exactly the right perks but otherwise they are basically worthless. I want more of a sense of powering up over the course of a run because as of now, I don't feel it.

no :)
I can absolutely understand why people might think it's a bad idea because of *current* balancing, but wouldn't it make the game way more fun?
I wish we could save midway through a run and have more chambers. What about an option to keep going through progressively difficult chambers every time you don't pick the door with the final boss before the round table? Or maybe after beating the sea boss, the infinite chambers door appears alongside the door to the round table? That way if people don't feel ready for the round table they can gamble and keep trying for more perks?

No it would not.
They should definitely rework many of the blessings to feel competitive and viable.
But giving a blessing every room would make you a god by the end of chapter 1. There's no balancing around that.

If you're worried about that then they can still replace the crystal shard, money, and moonstone rooms with something easily way better instead of blessings. Wether this post has a good solution to it is the thing up for debate. In my view they did it because it was easier. Hades did it, they knew that and were like ok let's just do that, with no further insight. That's where this game fails the most and is losing it's players. It's TOO early access, the progression with the weapons and spells feels like a mobile game, takes no skill just play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, and there's not enough unique additions to seperate it enough from it's inspiration.
