My MMB does not work in game

In the tutorial when ure shown how to navigate your told to use your MMB to pan around , which is logical most similar games use it.
Problem is in my case there nothing happening , and my mouse button does work , and in the controls section i cant remap it there is no Tacwiev section at all.
The game looks nice and i want to enjoy it but this is an integral part of it so i am stuck.
Any help would be apreciated.
