I was saying it is easy to unlock the stuff since it doesn't take long to acquire VP if you just stick to songs/difficulties you are more likely to clear. That's how I mainly did it. I'd go from attempting harder stuff back down to the easier stuff to gain VP.
Therefore.. I'd claim that it's better to pay those extra two euros than to feel forced to bother with unlocking stuff instead of playing just to distract myself and have some fun.
That's just because Project Diva X is a newer game than Future Tone Arcade (which this game is a port of).
