Megamix is not booting at all.

Every time I press play on steam, it will say I'm playing it and turn to "stop" for a minute before shifting back to not playing it and the button returning to play, if that makes sense. I've looked though threads over the last few months and I haven't been able to fix it. Does anyone know how to fix this? TYSM

Does the game show up on the task bar or start to pop up on your screen and go away? Sometimes I think something is up with denuvo not verifying the game but idk if that is the issue.

Normally keeping the steam window open and not closing it out or minimizing it at least until the game starts has solved my issue with that. I've tried clicking on the desktop portion of my screen to unfocus the steam window and that sometimes gives me higher success rates of the game staying open for me.

It's very glitchy on my end but I think sometimes denuvo fails to verify and closes the game. I even have to click start 2-5 times sometimes to get the game to open sometimes.

Mind if you screenshare via discord to see if you got a similar thing going on? Hopefully some more people can give insights to what might be going on as well!

Sorry, gonna be busy the next few days so it's gonna be hard to screen share. I can say that it doesn't pop anything up at all, not on taskbar or task manager, it doesn't open anything at all. It says I'm playing it on steam, then a few seconds after it says it's closed.

After a bit of testing using my brother and family share, it turns out it's a steam account issue:
My account on his PC: Boots up before crashing
My account on my PC: doesn't even boot as described
Brother's account on both PCs: WORKS PERFECTLY.

NVM, my cloud save was corrupted. For future reference for anyone who has the same issue with any other games and stumbles upon this post:
I had to turn off steam cloud (Properties -> Keep game saves)
Then I had to press Windows + R, type %appdata%, and navigate to AppData\Roaming\SEGA\Project DIVA MEGA39's\Steam\(player ID) and delete everything in that folder.
This will remove your save completely, but it's not as bad for this due to the DLC that gives you everything.
