please help!! controller bug I'm not sure how to fix

I have about 300 hours on the switch and want to use my xbox controller to play on pc.
I changed the melody icon display to YXAB (switch version) but that ONLY WORKS ON HALF MY CONTROLLER. that means the right side of my controller is now set to the right setting, while the left side is still on XYBA..
which leads me to get all perfects with my right hand and only wrongs with my left. i genuinely have no idea how to fix it..

In the Customize choice on the main menu there should be an option to remap the game's controls. Make sure your D-pad's control settings are how you want them.
