Whats the best control type?

Hi! I don't play rhythm games as much (the only one ive played a bit of is Project Mirai) so i'm pretty lost on what control type is good.. i know i should just figure it out by myself but i wanted to ask to the public as well
I know that there's controller and keyboard, but then theres also the arcade controller.. so im not sure what to do! I only have a logitech controller which i guess could be close to a xbox controller? (I never owned a xbox so i wouldnt be sure) if i'd had to buy a diff controller like a playstation i wouldnt mind.. i just want to know what would be best because im kind of having trouble getting into the game @_@

The arcade controller is the best. It's what the game's charts were designed for.

i use a keyboard because i have skill issue with controller, but most people play this using controller (especially DualShock) and arcade stuff

i recommend arcade controller ( a good one). i dont mind keyboard once i switch the keys around but there is a noticeable difference just with how the layout is even.

2 good settings you should change is your front R/L buttons.
Change L to be: Triangle, Square, and X (Or Up, Left, Down)
Change R to be Square, X, and O (Or Left, Down, Right)

This will help a bit with some of the common triple notes that appear in the charts. Here are some tips that helped me out a bit:

Press L when you see a triple note in the form of a triangle (either facing up/down it is the same) on the LEFT portion of your screen
Press R when you see a triple note in the form of a triangle (either facing up/down it is the same) on the RIGHT portion of your screen

There are some triples show up with the 3 notes next to each other, these are harder but just remember this:
- If they are next to each other without any spacing between the 3 notes it is one of the 2 common ones, just look to see if you see Triangle or Circle. If you see triangle press L, if you see Circle press R.
- Ones that have spacing in between are more difficult, I haven't had much experience on those to really help.
