Game Progress Deleted??

I have not changed Steam accounts and booted up the game. I've been playing for over a month with no issues. Just now, the game made me play the tutorial which it has never made me do before except when I first played it after purchase. After finishing it, I noticed all of my progress was gone. All of the songs are at 0 percent and I've lost everything. Why did this happen and is there any way to restore my progress?

if u didn't sync steam cloud yet, then your files may still be available at https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=1761390

these files go in appdata/roaming/SEGA/Project DIVA MEGA39's/Steam/<your ID>

I've had this happen a couple times. Luckily I keep backups of my save, which I'd recommend doing. They're located in C:\Users\(WindowsName)\AppData\Roaming\SEGA\Project DIVA MEGA39's. As for why the save gets corrupted, I think it's because the game autosaves when you go to the main menu, and it makes it easy to back out and quit while the game is still saving. I just pause a while on the main menu before quitting and it hasn't happened again since. Or you could just disable autosave if you can trust yourself not to forget to save manually.
