Were there always discounts during August 31st on other platforms? Not sure if I should buy the dlc song packs or not...seeing how the VIP edition would have been the cheapest options now, but I bought the base game via Fanatical on launch

Would be great but I am not sure if Sega puts it on sale, again, in 3 weeks. It's a bit too fast for big company games, in my experience at least

Yeah, that's true. I just remembered that there's a new Steam rule regarding sales and it says that they can't have another sale within 28 days from the previous one, so I guess there will be no discount?

Yes, but the rule says it doesn't apply to the big Steam Sales, from what I can understand from this line here.

"Discounts cannot be run within 28 days of your prior discount, with the exception of Steam-wide seasonal events."
