There's really nothing to censor.

Or rather, if you want to split hairs, any of the photo modes in the past have filters to stop taking lewd photos.

That has always been the case for the series, not unique to any single release.

It is based on M39s/Mega Mix for Nintendo Switch. You won't be able to look at panties and yes, some song thumbnails are the censored ones from the Switch release.
However, if you know about PJD Modding, you might want to take a look at their discord. Can't say more about this.

Because Sony started demanding censoring of anything remotely related to anime titties on games for their consoles even in 3rd party games. This has been going on for about as long as the ps4's been around

That's an incredibly stupid excuse when 1. The game is untouched aside from these artwork changes, 2. Sony's censorship policy was global yet it was only changed in the western release, 3. it came out a year before Sony's censorship policy began, and 4. it was still censored in the Switch and now PC releases.

PS4 Future Tone is based on the Arcade Future Tone release.
Switch MegaMix is based on the PS4 Future Tone release (debug menu said Arcade Future Tone v6.0)
Steam MegaMix+ is based on Switch MegaMix, so it's all the Arcade game just with other UI elements. Most likely just either 6.0.1 , 6.1 or 7.0 ... idk, nobody accessed debug mode of MM+ yet.

Censoring of thumbnails and such began with the PS4 Release and all newer released afterwards just took the PS4 assets.

I am fully aware of that and that doesn't contradict anything I said. If it being on a Sony platform was the only reason then they should've been fine to undo the censorship on the Switch and PC releases, and both of these releases obviously had significant changes between them given MegaMix's totally different graphical style and now + letting you choose between them, so you can't say that it wasn't possible to go back and restore some changed pieces of artwork.
This is obviously not something you can just blame Sony for.

undoing censorship would mean "more work", do you really think SEGA would do that? they probably don't care, i mean it's just a few song thumbnails.

pretty much no game company ever will change their edits in this way

when they censor it in production for sony, it tends to just be left alone when ported or rereleased on other systems. we can, of course, call them out for being lazy - but sony is absolutely the one primarily at fault, for causing the game to be built or edited in this way to begin with.

You're still ignoring that there was zero reason this would've been Sony because Future Tone's English PS4 release was before Sony's censorship policy began.
